*Shaved Ice: Wednesday, Oct. 3rd The cost will be $1.50
*Thursday, Oct. 4th: This will be Miss Robinson's last day. We will be having a surprise going away party for her on Thursday afternoon. If your child would like to send a note or a small gift they may do so on Thursday.
*I will be out on Friday, October 5th. I will be taking my Written Comps, which will be another hurdle in my education process.
*Friday, October 5th: Ms. Pam from TEAM Math will be teaching a lesson in math.

Shaved Ice:

The P.E. department will be selling Juice Flavored shaved ice. The scheduled dates are Sept. 6th, Sept. 18th, Oct. 3rd, Oct. 17th, and Oct. 30th. If you would like your child to participate, please send $1.50 cash for each day. Make sure that you send exact change. (No checks!) The money they raise will be used to purchase additional P.E. and playground equipment. The money raised last year helped purchase two heavy duty swing sets!

Tardy bell rings at 8:00 am. Please have your child at school on time. We are limited for time to collect lunch, juice/snack money with P.E. starting our day at 8:15 am.

ASU Intern: I'm very excited to have Miss Robinson in my classroom for the first part of the school year. She is a graduate of Elmore County High School and comes from a family full of educators. She will be with us until October 4, 2012. Please remind your children to show her the respect that they would with any other classroom teacher.

Read Across CES Week

February 27-March 2

Monday: I Am Not Going to Get Up Day- wear pajamas to school
Tuesday: Fox in Sox Day- Wear silly mismatched socks. Be creative and wear your Dr. Seuss CES t-shirt.
Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday Day- Wear wacky clothing (mismatched, inside out, or just use your imagination)
Thursday: Green Eggs and Ham Day- Wear something green!
Family Reading Night: Pizza and Drinks at 5:30; Choirs will perform, Reading Fun Begins at
6:00.
Friday: Dr. Seuss' Birthday Celebration- Costume parade and guest readers
