Student Council

Penny Drive: We will be having a penny drive to help assist the two families who have loss their homes due to fire in our community. The drive will start Feb. 10th and end Feb. 29th. The Student Council will be sponsoring this project.

PTA Program

We will be performing on Tuesday night for the PTA program. If you plan on attending please have your child in the lobby by 5:30 pm in front of the Lunchroom. We have been practicing for this program for over a week. It's really going to be cute!

AUM Intern

Mrs. Goddard is our Student Teacher from AUM. She is great! She will be taking over the teaching for the next couple of months. Please talk to your child about his/her behavior during this transition. They will need to be on their best behavior. Thanks you for all that you do!

DIBELS

Thanks for all of your hard work. We did fantastic on our middle of the year DIBELS testing. 18/19 students Benchmarked for the Middle of the Year. We have 13 students who have already Benchmarked for the End of the Year! Great Job!!!!

**DIBELS Testing: Thursday, January 12th, Remember your child needs to be reading 68 words per minute by the middle of 2nd Grade and 90 words per minute by the end of 2nd Grade.

Wednesday: We will be having our Christmas Party at 1:30.
Thursday: Breakfast with Santa & Gotcha Party
Friday: Early Dismissal

Student Council Upcoming Events

Can Food Drive for the Welcome Center in Millbrook will be held November 7-10th.
Fundraiser: Alabama & Auburn paper footballs and booster badgets beginning November 14-18th.
PTA Program Pizza Sales: November 8th, Math Night; The student council will be selling pizza at the PTA programs throughout the school year.
